Maybe Branson gave into the Right Wing pressure from Neoconservative oil men... They are more powerful than him and have more money. They need to protect their precious petroleum.

Yes cold fusion is real and has been duplicated in the lab. Yes certain enigmatic entities with big corporate and some govt ties are stifling alternative energy sources to protect very lucrative petroleum exploitation. Can't just blame ALL govt and ALL corporations. It is a small but very powerful subset loosely known as "the shadow govt." Sen. Daniel Inouye (D-Hi) has referred to them many times and during the Iran Contra hearings.

@1freedomfighter11 - All good points, however, I see no relevance with other planets and the artificial greenhouse effect WE are causing with air poluttion... Our situation is not really "global warming" that's a misnomer. Our problem is infrared radiation is being reflected Back to Earth by man made particles in our upper atmosphere. This is causing polar ice caps to melt which is impacting our global climate and other thins dangerous to our existence.
