Damian Erskine gives some tips about using 5ths on the bass to get around the neck. (My deepest apologies for calling the A an 11th in CMajor... it's the 13th !! Trying to think and play at the same time never works for me! ;)

  • Very helpful! Never looked at fifths this way! You just opened a new door for me!

And by the way, nevermind those internet pricks saying bad stuff about you. They're just jealous and/or have a small weenie! :)

    Keep rockin' dude!

  • @katraal ha! thanks man...

  • wow!!! todd johnson zon!!! a quick review will be the most welcome!!

    any pros&cons? playability, craftmanship...??????

  • @anahowana I love my Zons! I don't play a Zon 6 anymore tho because I find that C-strings sound too thin on graphite necks. Other than that, I loved em'!

  • really helpful thanks for sharing this, this could sound crazier if u can thump it

  • @lajbass3o1 good idea... take it and make that your thing! I always hope people will take my little ideas and expand upon them to create their own unique ideas.... start working on that man and post a video response! we can learn together

  • this si very educational...thanks Damian!!

  • This is a really really cool video; thanks for posting this. The stuff at the end about how our ears respond to the symmetry, and the idea of "bringing it back" for our "western ears" is great.

  • Well, except for the 'weenie' implication. It's just frustrated ego doing the thinking and talking.

  • Sensei! You've done it again! Once again, "Thanks, Damian!" BTW, I Totally Agree with "Katraal:" Very helpful and mind opening. It's time for Erskine Bass Camp!
