I agree with bally1982 100%. Designs were beautifull we have very few people left who can project pakistan on world class level we should encourage them.

zuhayerI171288: You need to think out of the box mate... things have changed... world has changed so PAKISTAN GOT TO BE CHANGED as well. We need to compete with the outside world and portray our country to the world that our society is not all about extremisim.

This fashion show looks good and I hope they would be able to organise more like this kind of event in future.

Gud effort. Reflects the interests of a small minority of Pakistanis. Most Pakistanis feel proud of their artistic and beautiful traditional dresses. But nothing wrong if some among us compete globally. My only advice to the organizers: Refrain from using this event to make political statements and portraying this as ...a challenge to the conservative segments of Pakistanis. The religious component of our culture is legitimate, just as your right to stage this event is. Celebrate all Pakistanis.

fashion does'nt mean that we pakistani should compete with europe, we can do fashion within our limits, we can portray out culture in our fashion. fashion doe'nt mean to dropp off the cloths and show your skin, I do'nt know what happed to the people of pakistan, why don't they show their real culture, why do they show european culture in fashion shows

Umm.. it's good that they want the world to see a "softer" image of Pakistan but what's the use when you are designing something that does not represent your culture? I mean, sure, design them but don't say they're representing your culture, for heaven's sake.

There shouldn't have been short dresses... otherwise what beautiful patterns!!!
