  • my grandpa has that guitar it was appraised at 5500 dollars ide say dang but he is keeping it

  • @MrDanielismybro I don't want to contradict your appraiser but a 1950s Gretsch 6120 is worth about $12,000.00 I had one in mint condition and had to sell it, that is what I got. You may have a 1950s Country Gentleman and $5500. would be close. It would have to be a single cut away to have that kind of value.

  • @CvgGuitarPlayer very true.i think you should have the guitar appraised again.5500 is practically giving it away.i would say more in the 8000-11000 range..

  • @shovelthumbs78 Yngwie can play really fast. gets old even faster. I've seen several interviews of him. He's a huge douch bag.

  • @shovelthumbs78 I can honestly say the first time I saw Yngwie my jaw did -not- drop. I thought "Another soulless wanker who plays fast" All sound and fury signifying nothing....

  • @catacombkittenz Yngwie shred broke away from that overdone repetative blues playing that flooded guitar playing in the 70's. To insult him is no different than some young punk insulting Chet calling it "old people's music" and completely overlooking his talent. Don't tell me the first time you saw Yngwie your jaw did not drop.

  • This must be rare footage. It's all so great!

  • @bigdaddy1382 Except that all yngwie can do is shred in bad taste.

  • This guy was finger-tapping and using other "modern" tricks way before Van-Halen (Love the band) came around. You could call him the Godfather of Metal.

  • WOW!!!!

The Yngwie Malmsteen of the 40's and 50's.... how cool is that?
