@illusionistdave Quite true, but I have had many years of experience in evaluation of extraordinary claims. I don't believe mentalists can influence or read people like they claim. I see certain clues to this being a con.

Well, let's do some research right here. How did your experiment turn out?

The notion of forcing a card is well known in card tricks, but I don't think these claimed super-subtle suggestions work. At least not to any significant degree.
