I just bought the 2010 prius, and I will be testing the mpg on my long trips this summer.

Why isnt GM, or Chrysler making a FULL Hybrid like this?
Gas price explosion, and they had nothing to offer.
Chrysler made a partial Hybrid linked it with a HEMI V8 & put it in a pickup truck, WTF???

Short term CEO pay linked to profits, no long term thinking.

Why not offer the Dodge Caliber as a Full-Hybrid?

The new Gen. Prius look is so boring. Just looking at it's side profile makes me want to fall asleep. Another car styled "anonomously" from Toyota. I'm pretty sure Toyota sucks every bit of soul out of their cars before they leave the factory. If you really want to save the environment start walking, cycling or taking transit.

Mazda 3 is better. Relatively fuel efficient, and a million times more fun to drive.

I could not agree any more. At least they are trying unlike Toyota with their VERY conservative styling and driving experience.

you are seriously blaming toyota for putting out a environmentally friendly car?...are you 9?...don't be a moron..a prius does exactly what it does.....act as a full hybrid...it never claimed to be a fun car...but a hybrid...

Wake up man. If automakers were not all controlled by oil companies and lobbyists, the internal combustion engine would have been scrapped many years ago and we would be driving electric or alternative fuel cars. The Prius still relies on fossil fuels. Hybrid technology is just a stop gap from the internal combustion engine and It's not really a solution in my book, even if it is much more efficient.
