Super Mario XP Stage 5 Walkthrough

You've managed to sneak into the castle...but this fortress is the cruelest stage we've ever had.

1st subpart: When walking narrow corridors, don't fall in the vault where Thwomps await -- there are hidden blocks.
3nd subpart: Be careful to control yourself while jumping on the jump platforms.
4th subpart: Don't stomp Goombas! Otherwise, they become into "Alastor" (the cursed goomba) and it defies any weapons but crosses. Let them suicide.
Finally, Reznors are nastiest bosses -- punch platforms they occupy. Don't get any damage in midair -- a grave consequence!

Aww god, the best Mario fan game ever! This is the stage I always got up too and then never beat. I never even made it to the boss. The Angry Video Game Nerd should do an episode on this damn game.

Yeah. One hour and maybe 40 lifes later, I've beat the stage. Took me more than 10 runs at the boss. This is getting really, really hard.

Looking at subpart 3 made my knees go weak. I suck at springy things.
