I listen to The White Stripes and Funeral for a Friend (among many others) and I don't think FFaF ruined it...they did a very good job. Come on, it is more a short medley than a real cover ;) .
And for the record:
-Jack White is talented, but this song absolutely isn't hard to play on guitar. I'm playing for 2 years and played it by ear
-FfaF are very talented too...very hard guitar riffs, especially on their old songs.And very multifaceted,too.

LMAO this is ONE song, and simplicity isn't always a band thing, remember, it took Picasso a life time to paint like a child, and Jack White is a great guitarish, Slash even says so...
go look at Jacks better guitar skills... he is better than another emo crap band trying to cover something they can't play
go on youtube and type in 'amazing jack white' untill you've done that and can find something bad, you are wrong.

i think it's silly when people try to re-create something of Jacks :) they did it very wrong, not like Jack White plays at all.
