@axlhun Anyway, this was the first time I read the comic first. It was a nice change after 300 and Sin City. :)

Yeah, and sorry for the 3 long comments, YouTube just don't provide enough spaces to write your full opinion. Also, I didn't mention it, but I like this parody very much, even though it doesn't do justice to the film at all. (But at least it's really amusing.) Well, and the comic has even more of blue penis, so the film was really genial in this case. :D

@axlhun Everything turned out how I expected and it really was a pleasure to watch throughout. In my opinion this is the best you can make of the original material in 3 hours. Of course they left out a lot of subplots and whatnot (they would be too difficult to inculde properly), but all the main aspects were there, the actors were all good choices (especially Rorschach and the Comedian) and the whole thing looked like you could expect.

@DemonicRemption Exactly. I didn't even know Watchmen existed until I saw the trailer for the (then) upcoming movie. I liked it (you should consider that I also liked 300, both the film and the comic), so I decided I'll read the book before I go see it, so I can take pleasure in seeing how well they turned it into a movie (I wasn't affraid it will be bad, after all Zack Snyder is good at least in making decent adaptations if nothing else).

@axlhun True after all it depends on what you're looking for. I just felt the first time through when I saw it, the film's plot was outweighed by how over the top they could make the violence. Because as we all know violence is what makes a dark film, not the emotional character investment in the plot...
