not sure about that. Bos won a Japanese Keirin race against a bunch of japanese riders and Vinokurov, who almost lost by inches. And Vino is not nearly the sprinter that is Boonen or Robby.

Against Vino?? Are you drunk? Vino weighs about a thrid what bos does, theres no way he would have the power to be anywhere near bos..... you obviously dont ride a bike, its like asking craig mclean to do a road race....

Ok tough guy. I've medaled in matched sprints. yes I ride. And if your ridiculous logic was right, then Robbie M wouldn't stand a chance against Boonen, yet he kicks the big guys'asses all the time, doesn't he? But all you have to do is a search on uTube and watch it for yourself.

But this is track not road. What ever helps you get to the finish more efficiently is better. Being light on a track as a sprinter isn't going to help like it can on the road

Look at Bradly Wiggens, hes an endurence rider like Vino. You can't be very experienced if you are comparing an endurance tack body type with that of a sprint/keirin rider.

Professionals specialize in either sprinting or endurance, they don't do both like you are able when you race against kids at the track once a week.
