TRANSPORTATION IN 2 is there for the conclusion of the Southern California Transit Forum on Feb. 5. The forum brought together elected officials, transportation agencies, union members, transit advocates and the public to discuss the funding crisis affecting transportation.
The forum featured multiple panel discussions from elected officials and transportation experts.
"We hope that we begin to get some solutions addressed," OCTA Chairman and Tustin Mayor Jerry Amante said. "We also hope that we begin a dialogue with those decision makers in Washington, D.C. and Sacramento about the importance of their commitments to California."
The conversation of the future of transit is still going. Use the #transitforum tag on Twitter to see comments and questions from the forum -- and to join the discussion.
