This is a musical arrangement I made using Suzanne Collins' lyrics from the book Mockingjay. Hope you enjoy it!

  • Love your version of the song! The shakiness of the video is very distracting. Set up a tripod and do another version!

  • @tomjenvogel The shakiness was a stylistic choice by my sister, but I'm glad you like the song! Thanks :)

  • Any chance of this song being available as an MP3?

  • @aworldtransformed I just put it up on my BandCamp page! It's raesterling.bandcamp.com

  • @aworldtransformed The link to where you can download is now in the description! Thanks :)

  • This is the best version I've heard yet!

  • You look much more like how I imagine Katniss to look than the actual actress they picked to be her. :D This is absolutely lovely.

  • Had this stuck in my head all day - such a beautiful arrangement! I have to say, I never really sing songs in books, they seem more like poetry to me - but this is amazing, and seems to fit the kind of song it would be (all folky and haunting) :) Do you have the tab/chords at all? I can sing it, but I'd love to be able to play it. x

  • Ahhhh this is amazing! Lots of other versions of this are floating around online, but this is the only one that's ever sounded close to how I thought it would! Amazing job :)

  • @raesterling Thanks so much!

  • @WestEndActress I know what you mean... I really didn't like it in the book, and thought it was pretty morbid, but the way she sings it almost gives it a different meaning. The way she sings it is so beautiful and haunting.
