LoL...no matter how you look at it...Nuck's fans will say it's clean and Hawk fans will say it's dirty. This will never end
HOWEVER To compare this to the Naslund/Moore hit is ludicrous. If you watch both videos, Mitchell's hit made contact at the WAIST first and Toew's head whips back. For Moore's hit, he made contact with his SHOULDER to Naslund's HEAD.
By the rules...this hit was clean.... Player had the puck Hit was from the front Hips made first contact Did not leave his feet
haha this looks like one teams supporters yelling at others in these comments. i dont even watch ice hockey. im not even from america or where ever they play it. not tryna start shit, it looks like the white shirt fulla fully owned the red shirt fulla. lol
Nothing more pathetic than a homer, whether the CBC announcers or the commenters here. Vulcaneagle, both of Steve Moore's hands were on his stick and Naslund's head was also down. Did that justify either hit? And to "PrairieBoy99isdumb" (wow, you get the medal for clever titles), may be you can explain how a "shoulder to shoulder hit " caused a concussion when Toews' head never hits the ice. Try cracking a Bio 10 text next time instead of a beer. That is, if you have any brain cells left.
Both of Mitchells hands were down, the only head shot that occured here was Toews running his own head into him, he even said he got caught with his head down. Sorry you fail.
Well considering naslund was hit by an elbow in the face, and toews was hit soulder to shoulder, im pretty sure they have nothing in common. It's NOT OK to take an elbow to the face, your an idiot for trying to compare. GG. You mad 1-10?
Uh, gentlemen (or is it ladies??), before you try to prove your "manliness" by swearing at me over the internet, try looking at the video again between 0:02-0:04. Toews didn't land on his head, he fell on his right side and his head never came near the ice. No different than Naslund; the player got a concussion from the hit, not from their head hitting the ice. Neither Mitchell nor Moore went for the puck, they went for the player's head. If it's OK for Mitchell then it's also OK for Moore.
