Too much spining getting out of the hole. It was my second time at Napierville and I ran 14.984sec at 93.16mph. With stickier tires, I think I could run it in 14.75 or so. It was 17 celcius, 9pm. That beside was an STI (that is what was written) but I believe it is more a stock WRX as it ran about 14 sec.

  • dont mod the 2.5 !buy a v6 in first dont lose your time with l4

  • @ELMICKBOUL

Or do like me and buy a better suitable car for mods (new SHO TT AWD)

BTW if anyone wants the Steeda Cold Air intake that I had in that Fusion, I only used it about 6 months. I am in the Montreal, Quebec area... I would sell it very heap and it is in perfect condition.

  • Wow, until I found this video, I haven't seen anyone else get under 15 sec in a Fusion. Good job. Before I got the work done on mine I was at 14.7 N/A and it was quite a bit of work to get it there. Did you buy the professional Live link software to go with the SCT Live link data logger and XCal or did you have someone do the tuning for you for your pinging issue?

  • @themainmason A guy tuned it for me with a lot of timing causing the pinging, I changed the spark plugs, but problem was still there but less... Tires were mediocre, the car would have run around 14.7 s. with radials. But instead of putting more money trying to make it faster, I replaced it by the new Taurus SHO. Great potential with the 365 HP, 2 turbos and AWD...I expect to soon use my SCT tuner in it and am aiming at low 13's if not 12's+. See my other videos, better quality to come. Thx.

  • Hey Zune, the performance mods are : Steeda cold air intake, removed the silencer (doesn't add power but sounds better), bigger exhausts (no power but better sound too), SCT custom tune with 87, 91 and 94 octane. In this video, I removed timing from 4K to 8K rpm because it was pinging. I recently changed the spark plugs for iridium with lower gap and the problem seems to be resolved. With a bit more timing and better tires and on a colder night, I believe it can run around 14.75...

  • @themainmason Hey I tuned it last year let me know if you need info . JOHNNYMOTOR

  • Your fusion is very fast. I have a 2010 Ford Fusion SE with a 2.5liter inline engine. I want to mod it. What did you do to yours?
