They were like a marriage.i think for a short while, just before Costello died, they kind of weren't speaking, but they had a very brotherly relationship.Abbott visited Lou in the hospital just before he died,and they reconciled, from what I understand.Lou could be very difficult and stubborn, when he felt he was being treated unfairly.

My first comedy! Magical, I used to watch them and the three stooges. I was very saddened to hear abbott and costello disliked each other.
