cool. i have decided a couple of days ago about getting a mac laptop. a bit of money but i think it will diffently be well worth it. still dont know what programs i would like to run off it thou. undecide so far. but your answers did make me think. thanks. gregg

I regularly install various sizes and shapes of Mac's at the high school I work at. I recently had an aluminium iMac sitting on my desk for about 2 weeks, and just about everybody who took a look at it, asked me "where is the box?"....quite funny really.

Danny, don't know whether anybody has commented on this but matte screens are actually preferable for photo / video editing. This option is what pro photographers/video editors choose. Whilst glossy screens make colours appear richer (great for the consumer market), they don't necessarily represent the true picture.
