@ShilonkleDinger69 This is a bit late, but the truth is the Diablo is not a starter kit, it's just Ddrums entry kit. Doesn't mean it's bad. The price is for the two is only a $100 difference. It's more of what heads and how you tune that will determine the sound. Drum pro's could make a first act sound like a DW.

Why do people differentiate what kit is supposed to be a starter kit and what isnt.. I mean, why would you want to start on a piece of crap kit!? Why not start on a good kit?

Hey, do you know why it's called "pocket"? I thought it would be smaller, but it looks like all of the drums are average size.

the ddrum diablo is a starter kit whereas this is the middle of the road kit, better wood,better lugs,better sound !!

yea i bought this kit about 3 months ago. the stock head on the snare sounds amazing, he has his tuned too tight but everything on this kit sounds amazing. just get new heads for the toms and bass. i have aquarian super kick II on my bass and it sounds amazing. i have aquarian tom heads but i wanna replace them cuz hey don't sound too great, i'm switching to evans. for christmas i'm hooking it up w/ mics, i'm excited!
