Emerald Walkthrough 2 - First Battle With Brendan!

So now that I've got my journey started, it's time to catch up to Brendan and battle him. The easiest way to beat him is to not worry about stats and just fight with your offensive attack. He'll waste his time with stats, and that's how you win :).

Anyway, this part is really annoying because you're expected walk all the way to Brendan and back. Emphasis on walk. I can't stand life without the running shoes :P. So after I beat Brendon, Zeus and I return home and recieve Pokeballs from Brendan. My mum also gives me the running shoes, and you can see me do my lap of joy around the town.

After that it's off to Petalburg city. I'm fighting all of the trainers because I really feel that I need training.

Good choice with Mudkip. Swampert is a badass OU physical wall, and in-game it can actually do the most damage at level 100.

In conclusion, Regina chose right. Mudkip is the best not only because it's a water type that is surprisingly resistant to electricity, but it's got the highest raw dmg points by lvl 100 out of the other 2 starter pokemon. --- If y'all wanna pawn pokemon ruby,sapphire or emerald - choose MUDKIP!
