My take on a Get things done kit / hipster pda. It was shot with me holding the camera, hence the 1 handed operation. Which is both a testament to ease of use, and the reason It looks kinda, less than graceful. ; )

These cards (and rings and plastic dividers) are available at wallgreens (the only place I've found them) and they're called Mead Ringdex Cards.

  • nice video, what did you do for the covers?

  • Those are the plastic covers that come with the ringdex cards.. I get them with every stack.. so I now have craploads laying around.

I tried a custom leather cover for a while, but it made the whole thing too thick so I switched back.

The tab labels are printed paper, stuck on with packing tape.

  • It appears Mead has quit making this but the good news for any who would want one already made is that Oxford now makes them and they are stocked at most Office Depot stores as a "Note Card Organizer". It comes with covers on front and back, two dividers, and 75 punched index cards. Refills are available as well.

  • It looks very nice, but please show me how you use it, what are your steps to add an item to it, your sections in the system, what pen u use with it, it would be interesting to know that.

  • oh okay, I have never heard of such a thing. I'll have to look for ringdex cards.

Thank you very much. I am currently using a 3x5 index card box to keep track of my earnings and spendings. Works well, but not all places have the ability to give you a receipt or just plain forget(fast food drive thrus!)

    Thanks and nice vid! 5/5
