  • I haven't heard any Turk jazz in years. I absolutely love this guy and his music. I used to watch and listen to him when he was at the Tin Angel down on the Embarqadero and Bert Bayles was at Pier 28 (if my memory serves me right. It's been a long time) Remember the trumpet player Larry Conger? The best. Larry's brother played tuba for a while back then. Bob Short and his wife took me up in a small aircraft for my very first airplane flight. Bob Helm on licorice stick. Memories. Love em.
