  • chalmrast, Thanks for your help. I listened at the end of the video and it sounds like he says it's an A50-14S, not A40-14S. Did I hear this right? Thanks again.

    Joe

  • @magicjoe99 Yup!! A50-14S

  • chalmrast, Please let us know what you used for power for this conversion. Great Job! I would like to know the motor, battery, and prop. I have the same airplane and was thinking of doing the same thing. Joe

  • @magicjoe99 if's not my plane... it's a friends. If you listen at the very end, he tells the setup: Hacker A40-14S, 6S Lipo, Castle Ice 100 and 12" three blade Vario Prop set to about a 9" pitch.

  • chalmrast, Would you ask the pilot three questions for me? I would like to know where he set the cg and if he used any down thrust in the engine. When I flew this with a OS .61, I found that I liked it better with a shim behind the top engine mount. One other thing, it seemed to aways fly with a bit of down elevator. Does this one seem to behave that way?

    Many Thanks,

    Joe C
