This was not recorded by me. Courtesy of Kondwanii (Former HQ'er vidtress)

Since I didn't see this one up, I figured I'd add it. I am not in no way shape or form trying to use this as profit---this is just for nostalgia purposes. Enjoy :)

  • @2pacthemac wow, hating much? lol dude quit hating. Let everyone enjoy this video.

  • Well I can see things seem a bit stormy in some of the comments. Nonetheless, I'm glad everyone is enjoying the video :) I just now rewatched it, lol I forgot how much I loved the dancing in this vid. Seems like even after the Mazarati era BM was still hot on the dancing.

  • @girl89kn Thanks for posting! I haven't seen this video since it came out in the late 80s when I was in high school. Nostalgia of the old BET.

  • No prob :)

  • No problem you guys. Enjoy the video and I'll post other videos that I may not see on here. All Mpls. Sound related of course :)

  • @hmorganman obviously you are either mad young or never been to a Prince concert. Brown Mark/Mark Brown is nasty on the bass. before you make comments go do some reasearch. I've been to many Prince concerts, Brown Mark is crazy, listen to the song he can also sing real good. Right now we are in a synthetic era of music. Nobody is a musican, they have pro tools, fruity loops, synthesizers and samples. Go do your history before you make blanket statements about shit you have no idea about!!!

  • By that logic Warner Brothers is the best thing that happened to Prince. And we all know their relationship wasn't the most amicable.

  • @eny611 i agreed with everything until synthesizers and samples. didnt prince and all the other artists from back in the day use those? time moves forward not backwards so of course we're gonna use the advance of technology to our advantage

  • Brownmark is great, as a Bassplayer, and even as a original producer, like he produced ,rainy night of Chico Debarge, and many others, it was the funkiest album of chico rightaway,.. i like his funky Low Bass, and his squeeky voice on it a funk product we needed back then ... Listen alos toe the great Put a smile on your face and ,the Loud and Funky..Bang bang, for a start ...!!!, Funk Rocks still Big time !...

  • Awesome! Forgot home much I liked this track!

  • @2pacthemac

Thank you for your honesty and candidness, really. I just bought the used 12" single at Cheapo Records to use for one of my shows, you know, and saw more than just one copy. Sadly this guy only charted with just one song on the R&B chart just missing the 40.

  • @girl89kn I wanna know where he is at now and how he is doing?? he was NASTY on the bass! Loved it!

  • I USED 2 ROCK THIS! GREAT POST!
