Anot NBA legendos Billo Waltono ir JAV žurnalisto Jimo Lampley, „Svajonių krepšinio komandą turėjo ne tik Jungtinės Amerikos valstijos. Jų įsitikinimu „Svajonių komanda galima vadinti ir Arvydo Sabonio, Šarūno Marčiulionio bei Rimo Kurtinaičio laikų Lietuvos rinktinę.

Internete pasirodė dokumentinio filmo „Kita svajonių komanda anonsas. Jame jausmingi amerikiečių ir lietuvių pasakojimai apie 1992 metais Barselonos olimpiadoje dalyvavusią Lietuvos krepšinio rinktinę.

Būtent ši komanda, kuri olimpiadoje iškovojo bronzos medalius, vadinama „Kita svajonių komanda.

Kurdami dokumentinį filmą, kūrybinės grupės nariai viešėjo Lietuvoje, kur kalbino tuometinius olimpiados dalyvius ir su krepšiniu susijusius asmenis. Tačiau bene jausmingiausius žodžius apie tuometinę komandą ištarė amerikietis.

„Nemanau, kad kuris nors amerikietis kada nors supras to momento, kai Lietuvos vėliava kilo į viršų, prasmę, su ašaromis akyse prisimindamas 1992 metų olimpiados apdovanojimų ceremoniją sakė NBC televizijos sporto komentatorius Lampley.

Lietuvio režisieriaus Mariaus Markevičiaus sukurtą gilius prisiminimus ir pasididžiavimą gimus lietuviu sukeliančio filmo anonsas anglų kalba.

@mezzofondo imo coaching in the nba is very much degraded(it`s you own fault,you just want muscle and dunks)so don`t expect any of the great coaches to put himself in that kind of situation.and you americans just want to put a number on everything.there`s so much more to sport especially basketball.I`m not gonna take a lesson in sport from anyone who don`t get that

@sonyaudioin Ivkovic may have been a great contributor in Europe. Was he ever approached to coach in the world's top league? (NBA) I appreciate European basketball, but if most American players had a choice between the NBA and any European league, there is no contest. Same for Euro players. Rubio's play will improve greatly playing against vastly superior competition, night in night out. Your bias is evident and wholly lacking in knowledge of the sport.

@sonyaudioin Divac was an NBA All-Star ONCE. Does not make him anywhere close to being one of the greatest centers of all time. Here are the center's from the NBA's 50th Anniversary list: Kareem, Cowens, Cunningham, Ewing, Hayes, Lucas, Malone, McHale, Mikan, Olajuwan, McHale, O'Neal, Parrish, Pettit, Reed, Robinson, Russell, Shayes, Thurmond, Unseld, Walton. Divac's contemporaries at the time: O'Neal, Robinson, and Ewing owned him. It was really no contest.
