  • I don't understand a word, but it's great! :)

  • @Nessley22 If you read other comments here you can find a "translation" of the lyrics made by stensopp666. The swedish is better, but you will understand the meaning :)

Tack!

  • Varsågod, jag beklagar sorgen!

  • I am here and in the middle of a frozen path

    there is warmth even here,

though snow is starting to fall and the sky is turning grey.

  • For a second I am eternal

and then I know nothing more:

only one thing, that I'm living

    as fully as anyone else.

  • We are captives in time

like the impression of a hand

    on a frosty old window

which has been shown mercy by time's tooth.

  • There among twinkling stars

which are fading one by one

    life comes truly near

like a glimpse of the truth.

  • And I know that those who have left us

    have understood that we are

like flickering flames for as long as we are here.

  • And a ray from the candles

    behind the window's vaulted frame

    has united those souls

which are here with us just now.

  • I have stopped on the path

    to rest myself awhile

and have been captured in that borderland

that brings night and day together.

  • Here is stillness and silence

    now the land has been coloured white;

    from the sturdy old church

the song rings all the way here.

  • This is truly, hauntingly beautiful!

There follows my attempt at an English translation (literal rather than poetic).
