ES cell microinjection into a mouse blastocyst

This is an educational video illustrating how mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells can be microinjected into a mouse blastocyst to eventually generate a genetically modified animal. These mice are most helpful and constitute a unique resource as animal models to study diseases affecting human beings.
