@CondemnedPatriot It used to be open year-round. Now we have a 4 month season. I don't take limits, but I like to save some for winter dinners.

What do you use to deal with the cold water?

@ralph66hd a wetsuit, but it's sometimes too warm as the X-Factor is a pretty dry ride for me at 200 pounds. The rule for trekking out onto the ocean, for reasonably minded folks anyway, is to "dress for immersion", and that is to dress for being in the cold water.
