Yes, a sad indictment on the state of affairs today.

Don,
Good analogy related to what is happening in real life. We the Deaf people are visual people and the light is also a "Deaf enlightment" metaphor.
Only those who are awakened can see the light and the whole Deaf world in beauitful colors.

LOL! And, like a friend of ours said: everybody leaves because the light is out!

Love it love it brilliant and funny! Hits the bail in the head. So let us ask each other - do we want to stay in the DARK? I say a loud NO even if it means trying to stay on the ladder long enough to reach the bulb. I remain hopeful because I see at least several others struggling to do the same. Someday...someday.... Oh it's TODAY!
Reason - some of us are too short so each of us who can reach the wood log and make the fire lighting brighter!

Ha. But wood fires can burn out of control and not always great light for seeing.

Thanks, Shel and Ella--
Yes, TODAY, not someday! Unfortunately, some people seem to LIKE it in the dark..... playing footsie with each other in the dark?
