wow people. come on its du haSt, with one s, which means you have. in the whole thing it never says you hate me. somebody translating it into english f-d but way back, and thats how it went on mtv with the lyrics. and im takin german so i would know the difference. and look them up as well. but good vid.

It's a play on words. Disregarding how it's spelled, you have to take into account how it sounds. And until he says "Du hast mich gefragt" it sounds like "Du hasst." Especially since "you have me" doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
