  • I hear the relationship of this song to the hauntingly lyrical aspect of the Star Trek original series theme. Image this singer (Jeanette Macdonald) vocalizing the melody of the theme music and rearrange the note progressions into something more 'spacy'. Heck, even the timing of both songs is the same. Nice work Alexander Courage!

  • @mumblebump That's why I went looking for it too. For the life of me I find it difficult to match to the OS Trek main title, except the long "Beyond" sounds a little like the sweep of music as the Enterprise first swishes past on the title screen.
