Message:
Consequences of not wearing a seatbelt, pause to think from the NT Govt. This message is a good one for a few reasons, but it ultimately points out that we are at the mercy of other people's actions on the road, so we need to maximise our own safety at all times, even when driving in the bush.

  • I really don't understand why some people don't wear seatbelts. It is beyond me.

  • Good question. They've saved my life countless times.

  • People in the NT don't wear seat belts because most cars don't have a "Darwin Stubby" holder in the dashboard.

  • Fucking retardard,seat belts r 4 pussys!

  • Why didn't he just get out of the car if he had 30 or so seconds? Also, the chances of hitting someone like that in the outback?

  • @McLarenMercedes

    2. what I meant was "no matter how safe a car is on the OUTside"

    5. For short 5 minutes trip to the supermarket they don't think it will be necessary.

    6. They think they are really cautious drivers and since they have never been in an accident in say 10-15 years they think accidents happens to others.

    7. They are too busy talking on their cell phones or applying their make-up to remember something as "unimportant" as seatbelts.

    8. They have a generally reckless personality.

  • @04smallmj

    Here are some possible answers...

    1. They don't think it's going to happen to them.

    2. They think they are in a safe car, say like a Volvo or huge SUV, not realizing their body becomes a free flying object inside no matter how safe a car is on the indise.

    3. They think stupid stuff like if they drive into water they don't want to be trapped with a seatbelt or if they collide they are dead regardless seatbelt or not (this is a popular idea in East Europe).

    4. They are too lazy.

  • @RastafariPoet Because a lot of people post a lot of retarded comments on these road safety videos and I'm sick of saying the same ones. It's not personal, it's just frustration after uploading 150 ish videos and getting the same stupid shit on all of em. Apologies.

  • @wuzzlevideos

Is there a reason you're getting worked up for no reason? P.S He/she didn't ask anything -- Reread.

  • @RastafariPoet Jesus christ, he asked WHY. The actual specific reason. Your comment is totally redundant.
