Laing was a flawed but essentially beautiful human being. And an undoubted genius. Any recognition his life receives is richly deserved.

R.D. Laing helped save my life by writing the Divided Self. A man is truly a man if he can help you from his grave. Rest In Peace R.D. Laing. Even in this man's death he's outwitted mainstream psychiatry. Thank you Mr. Laing.
