  • Agree on most parts, Ryan, but if you illiminate absentee ballots, how are those who are too ill or literally unable to make it to their precincts able to vote? Then again, if illiminating vote by mail isn't unconstitutional, given the amount of fraud, I would reconsider my position.

  • @JennyBMoon It is one day out of the year where they need to make arrangements to get to the polling place, otherwise too bad so sad. I would rather have someone not be able to show up to vote then have tons of fraudulent votes.

  • And who is this skinny guy? WTF happened to Mr. Dixon???

  • @Mauhadeeb28 Am I that skinny? Should I make a video about why I am so skinny? LOL

  • @ryanpdixon I get it, bro. It's just that 35-50 lbs is extremely noticeable after a long absence. Cheers to you.

Please do make a vid. There are still plenty of us fat folks needing motivation lol

  • @Mauhadeeb28 Will do.

  • @RythmandStrings -- not everyone was as lucky as you.

In Texas we have 15% who dont have a picture ID - mostly the poor and/or minorities

They could have said that if you've been on the voter's registration roll for over 40 years you are eligible, but they didnt as the intent was voter suppression

  • @ryanpdixon - we might prevent 5 fraudulent votes but at the same time prevent over 5,000 people from voting who've voted for many years --

    it's called VOTER SUPPRESSION

  • @doomgamer2009 Also another thought is maybe they should make it possible to use that idea card to grab the citizen's voting choices where ever they are so that they can vote for their state elections while at school out of their voting precinct.

  • @doomgamer2009 I am not anywhere near my voting precinct without having to take days off from classes that has never been a option if I wanted to pass my fall semester classes to take off much of the week say 3 days of class so that I could either fly back home which is costly and I lack the finances typically to make such a trip, or drive back one day be available to vote the next day, and drive back the following day again that is costly financially for a student as well.

  • @ryanpdixon I would rather be able to vote on issues I have a strong opinion on than not, it would be a issue for me if I joined say the armed forces and got put over seas I could see how a mail in ballot might be important in that case. So we can't eliminate absentee ballots but perhaps there can be another way of allowing voting for those that have a big reason they cannot make it into the polls. I for one am at college out of state.

  • @ryanpdixon - You say -- why dont minorities have IDs? I dont get it.

    Let me help you.

If you look at a list of the 100 poorest counties in the USA, you'll find most states dont have any & Texas has the most.

In those counties if you worked all yr at minimum wage, you are in the upper-class

Throughout the yrs many of the births were by midwives (still 75% cheaper)

Many of these ppl have been on the voters roll for over 40 yrs & ppl know them but now will be turned away

  • Get ID, get registered or get gone

  • @DillonDee1 It's discrimination against any idiot who doesn't have ID. ID's don't know what race a person is. I can't get a job, cash a check or drive a car without ID. So YOU think it's just fine that anyone, just anyone can have the ability to vote in the most powerful person in the western hemisphere? Nope.com! Voting is the right of CITIZENS only. And if you can't prove who you are, you don't get a job, a license, the ability to cash a check or....VOTE! Tough shit cry baby!

  • it's called VOTER SUPPRESSION

  • IN ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION -- yes, it's discrimination agst minorities

My father held state-wide office & I've helped him campaign in many of the small towns - of which Texas has many.

Some towns often have fewer than 50 ppl, many precincts have fewer than 50, even a county can have fewer than 50 ppl -- & everybody knows everybody

And it's not unusual to have blacks or Hispanics there delivered by midwives

Some have been voting for 50 yrs but will now need an atty to vote
