This "Soul of the Bayou" show brings together two Louisiana legends to celebrate the superb musical traditions of the Gulf Coast. Since forming in 1975, Grammy winners BeauSoleil have claimed their undisputed role as the most esteemed Cajun group in the world. BeauSoleil and Michael Doucet take rich Cajun traditions and artfully stir elements of zydeco, New Orleans jazz, Tex-Mex, country, and blues into a satisfying musical recipe. The Subdudes first roared out of New Orleans' landmark Tipitina's night club 20 years ago. Recently reunited, the five-piece band remains a treasure trove of gospel, soul, funk, folk, and rock-and-roll grooves. Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 8 pm $44 / $37 / $27
