I had a bucket fill with rain water in the yard and these things just started breeding in it on their own, no idea how they got there...I feed them to my fish anyway....

@TheNinjacat10 Bloodworms DO bite and it hurts like a motherfucker but it's mostly for defense I believe.

How do you keep them alive? I am going to be buying live blood worms from the pet store and need to know how to keep them alive until I feed them for my fish! an I just put them in a container with aquarium water?

my blood worms are so small and it a ball full of bworms and it mushy like it all together i put some in my clawed frog tank and they dont see it so they can't eat it, it sucks

Yes mate if they not moving,they dead!They will live a bit longer if you keep them in the dark and in the fridge.If they keep dying on you keep them in fresh water like rain water.
