I love roberts work and he is a very humble down to earth person as I met him years ago, he is inspirational to so many art lovers and artist alike. We are all artists in our own unique way

@AstronomyGuru1 I like Banovich as well but I think Batemans compositions are a little more interesting. Just my opion.

I loved Batemans earlier art, later on he preaches too much. Do I want a painting of a bird in a fish net? Not likely!

GREAT!!!! Glad to see you on youtube! Being a artist is hard! Glad to see one opf us is making it! One of the best paintings I saw was a abstract on the cover of a book. It was done by a autistic child!!! I lost track of him. Think I'll check out amazon.

Why would you ever compare Picasso to Bateman? They couldn't be more different in every aspect of their painting. you've done nothing more than arrogantly assert your likes and dislikes. Why attempt to foist abstract views of art on a realist natural history painter?
Regarding that much bandied Picasso quote; it is the utmost hubris to compare his own student work to a draughtsman of Raphael's calibre. Nor in my opinion did he ever acheive the true charm of a childs untrained drawing.

He's so lame that hundreds of people line up for hours on a regular basis to have him autograph books, paintings and so on.. I'd do it again because he has talent that I respect and love having on the wall of my house. If you don't like his work, fine, but at least your argument would be strengthened without insults and innuendo's. My guess is you have never met or studied the man; yet you judge him.. Sounds like ignorance of facts to me
