  • I think poi is one of the best things to do in life.I think people do poi to feel good and its one of the most skilled things to pratice. The movements, tricks, translations, and everything else put together can change the way people see things with one preformance. One thing I can say about poi is that its the greatest thing to have ever been invented for mankind.

  • I understood what you meant, I personally spin with a non-profit organisation, so i don't get money for that neither, but that's the way I can be sponsored to do what I love to. In a certain way spinning is a meditation or relaxation for me, it makes me forget eveyt trouble. And for Poimoodypoi: if you watch vids to see some those you find crap, and not ones you wanna learn from, or enjoy... well... Too bad for you. It's sad, you see...

  • I apologize. This was meant for Poimoodypoi, not Pisztu. Excuse me.

  • Poi Spinners out there. The reason why we Poi is to feel better and happy. For those who spin for the sole purpose of money, I pity you. For the feeling of what Nori is doing is complete satisfaction. His movements, his pirouette's, you can see clearly that he is in his own world. He is not thinking about moves, standing there thinking what comes next, he is clear in his mind, and looks like he has a wonderful flow. And added onto that, flags are more difficult to spin with. So, Bravo, Nori!

  • Being a poi artist, you should understand much of the philosophy and theory behind it. I defend Nori by saying each individual has their own style. He spins with 2 Beat TTN, 2 Beat Corkscrew, and Windmills (including pirouettes), his style differs from many that I've seen. I follow my poi with Chi, which brings a very calm style, but I believe it surely can inspire and become more beautiful than others. But Nori's style looks very lively and energetic. Now, Pisztu, compare that to half of the

  • Forgot to say that I love when people (specially you) can spin visually to music and not only in beat and that is what you are doing and thats what im trying to reach. I want people to see the song in the movement, hard but possible, I can se that ;)

  • Yuta, I enjoy so much watching you spin! You got a vision of perfection when it comes to symetri, timing and planecontroll. The best is that it`s only the beginning ;)

    Hope to meet you someday!
