Wow! Looks like actually driving a car!
Just had NFS Shift 2 crash on me just as I was loading up the first race with my own car. For Frock's sake!
All I can see is a small window, but there's no comparison. Shift 2 licks balls for realism compared to this.
The game pretty much lost me when the lame Youtube-esque videos of the fat-ass pro driver came on and told me about the 'cool posters'. I felt like he was talking to a class of 8 year olds.

@Tuze Because they got to a point where they could start making some money. Look at netKar as a beta, and netKar pro as the retail version, sort of. At least the retail version in the same league as Live for Speed. Sort of a "please pay us while we keep developing this game" sort of a thing. Indie developers don't exactly have a lot of income, so I see this as a nice way for them to make some money while they're developing. I usually support indies who do this.

It's not netkar pro but netkar, the first itteration of the simulation which was a freeware !
