Nov. 2 - In geographical flub, Vice President Dick Cheney erroneously commented that the "people of Peru deserve better" when asked about Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez during a foreign policy speech in Dallas, Texas.

Neither the vice president nor the polite audience corrected the statement.

    My brother was there! The second Cheney said Peru he was like "Whaaa?" They had just been talking about Venezuela in his Economics class. Maybe we should require our politicians to attend high school social studies classes.
