He held back tears and frustration at the end of this, I think everyone felt that way.
Bless Tom Wilkinshaw, poor guy pass away after suffering cancer.

yup, he was about to enter his prime. ABOUT TO. he could have won 10 championships if he wanted to,

@sarmasen Well, from what all happened from the end of 1993 I think, Senna was close to retiring. FIA has forced him to shut up when he was telling the truth about unsafe circuits with a suspended ban and of course, there was no Prost to challenge him. I think he just wanted to proove, that he still can beat Schumacher, and than will probably retire. After Ratzenberger died, he told dr.Watkins that he wants to stop, but for some reason he can not...

@Gigidag77 Senna was not close to retiring if he was alive he would nearly be still racing
-
@Gigidag77 Senna wasnt even close to retiring. He was not even in his peak yet...
-
If Senna had just retired, you wouldn't hear much about him, too
-
senna is the best of all times, and prolly schumacher's idol.

@zaq2camp3999 the records tell a different story - most podiums, most points, most race wins, most titles.

@victorulijn Not forgetting Roland Ratzenberger either, of Course. These two fatal accidents happened so quickly, that the drivers couldn't even get them.
Schumi is just like any other great driver, who relishes the "bad boy" image... Remember, Senna played the part of the "bad guy" to Prost and Mansell for years. Talent ultimately will tell.

Senna MUST have been a great mentor to Michael, and there should be no shame as to how Senna's passing affected Michael. I for one respect Michael's candid expression on the loss of a fellow driver, how quick we forget just how sudden a driver's life can end as we sit comfortably enjoying the show.
