I am also a white New Zealander. I think its being sorted out ok nowdays back then you have to remember past miscommunication between cultures lead to a heavy losses on both sides. Its hurtful to see all these comments about my ancestory. Even a comment saying we have no culture which is strange because well we do... Can't we just be New Zealanders? Maybe people should learn some history before making racist comments without looking at how Maori used to live before they were civilized.

Point blank, Maoris have a history with the land and therefore are people of the land, yes white man stole, and abused the their right of authority, yes yes yes. But fact of the matter is new Zealand is still standing, yes our societies are plagued with poverty and yes maori are amongst alot of poverty/state housing, crime offenders and so on and so forth, But it's all about today, and tomorrow, worry about that before quoting and arguing about the past. Appreciate that the past is what it is.

@FINERSTYLEZ Undoubtably crimes were comitted against us, my point is that whilst our dignity is not what it was/should be as a result things generally are much better (in terms of life expectancy and leisure). I think with my mind, not my cock.
