@appleman1324 There are on the internet, a bunch of trolls. And these trolls have found someone somewhere who has engineered a set of software that allows them to call telephone numbers - anywhere in the county - and put in as the caller ID any particular number they want to put in as the caller ID. Now, the telephone company knows about this, and the federal government knows about this, to the point that they've given it a name called SPOOFING.

you can just use hyper terminal, which comes with windows and is free, to do this.
