Lucas North/Spooks/MI5 (Fix You)

**My Aunt has passed away today June 21st, 2010 and this song reminds me of her. She was only 62 and died of liver disease which ultimately failed on her. Just wanted to say THANK YOU for all your comments, thoughts and prayers. That meant so much to me and knowing so many people care.**

FINALLY, I am able to get a new video up of Spooks! I know a lot of you were waiting for me to do a Spooks/MI5 video and after spending about a month on it waiting for episodes and everything it is here! YAY! LOL

This video focuses on the character Lucas North played by Richard Armitage. It's about his experience this season and how broken he was coming out of being in prison for 8 years. He basically lost everything, including his ex-wife who he loved. I thought this song fit well with him trying to get back to his life in England and being back on the grid (aka MI5). Also shows his overall experience in the season. ;-)

This video is dedicated to my mom and my aunt who at the moment are both battling melanoma and cancer. This song has really described how I have been feeling in life lately and knowing that I will make it through one step at a time. This is a sad video but also inspires hope, as there is a light at the end of the tunnel. So, I was really inspired by this song for so many reasons. My mom loves this song and Cold Play. :-) Wish I could "fix you" mom and auntie! I love you both so much!

I thought your selection of song, your fades and vid cuts as well as your frame selections were spot on. Truly great. I am still grief-stricken over what they did to this noble character and the song is so poignant that it moves me to tears. I can't really watch much of S9 because it breaks my heart. There is so much hate and sadness in the world that this is not the place for more of it.

Fuck Lucas, he was shit. Totally crap main character, glad he's gone. After 3 seasons he spent screwing up this show I hope they'll be able to bring in someone decent. Maybe reunite the best team members: Adam, Zaf, Kaplan, Colin, Malcolm and Tom Quinn. Oh look, the first four are dead. Yeah, thank you Spooks writers. All the best ones got killed off. Adam = legend. Zaf = awesome. Kaplan = second best charac after Adam. Colin = No words describe this character's brilliance. Fuck Spooks + Lucas

@pinnoable1 Thanks for the comment on the ACTUAL video. Did you think Lucas was shit before the ending of Season 9? My guess is NO. This video was made before the writers messed up his character so if you want to talk about how Spooks sucks perhaps you should do it on a forum/discussion board!

@HeathDances Actually I hated him from the get-go. I don't like Richard Armitage and I hated his character as Lucas. And actually I don't think Spooks sucks. The Sugarhorse and Nightingale storylines were awesome. But I never liked Lucas and am frankly glad he's gone. He sucked more than Sasha Grey.

Watching this video again after seeing what we have been shown in Series 9 Episode 7, it just breaks my heart. What they have turned Lucas into in Series 9 is just too hard for me to swallow, especially when this video shows all the amazingly good and loyal things that Lucas did. So sad.

Poor Richard, his characters always get the shaft... when writers decided to have Guy kill Marian it pretty much killed the entire series. He's such a phenomenal actor and added the depth to North's character that a script alone can't create. Your video is awe-some! Great clips timed perfectly to the song (can't ever go wrong with Coldplay!) and the action sequences at the end were so powerful, I got emotional watching the rise and fall of such an amazing character. Thanks for the tribute : )

Going into series 10 tomorrow looking forward to seeing Harry and Ruth again but still absolutely heartbroken what they did to our wonderful Lucas...He was the most incredible,beautiful but tortured soul...Richard you were amazing...So sorry what the writers did in series 9...at least we have these brill vids to watch...thankyou so much Heather for giving me my fav Lucas vid

@pinnoable1 If you don't like the actor or the character, then why come onto a video specifically about the character when all you're gonna do is bad-mouth him to the fans who actually care? It's simply rude, impolite, and stupid. At least learn some manners and courtesy. Go comment on some forum or another if you just wanna talk bad about the character, your rude words have nothing to do with this video that is dedicated to Lucas.
