Wow, nice bend! Do you have electronics design experience, or was this by trial and error? Because you really got some good sounds out of it!
Also, nice chanting box body - I've never seen that design. Where did you find it?
-
Fuck i need one of this.
Where i can get one/?
-
i am relatively new to this whole thing and it just seems weird lol but this would sound amazing if it was in super high quality surround sound and was coming at you from ll different directions if ya get me, maybe something a bit more harmonic tho :/

Hey, I have an authentic Buddhist chant box (I was raised Buddhist) as well, and I too am bending mine. Mine is the exact same as yours, except for the original case. Is it possible to mount the potentiometers and switches on the original box itself?

What kind of pots and switches will you use? I don't think the box has any space for mounting.

Would you mind posting a basic schematic of the wiring? Its a great bend, looks like good fun. I'm just starting out myself and wouldn't mind having a go at something like this.
Now to find out where I can get one (no buddhist temples in London, ON)

I would if I had spare time but it is difficult to explain given that the hardware is discontinued, I think.
To sum up the bend in a few words, it's just a dynamic rheostat-potentiometer mounted on an array of switches.
You can buy many kinds of authentic (not FM3) Buddha machines / jukeboxes online at DealExtreme dot com. They have Tibetan ones too!
