Bird was always rather distant, and when it finally came close there were tops of phragmites in the way! 1st twitchable bird in Notts I believe.

  • Aha, I thought there had been one many moons ago, Cheers! No problem with the sound.....normally I edit the sound out but forgot on this one. :-) I know Derby's has had a recent BBSand in the last couple of years but it was not twitchable sadly!

  • There was a bird from the 23rd-26th August 1961 by all accounts, however fridays bird was only the second record for the county. Sorry about my voice on the video, you should have told me to button it for both our sakes. ;0)
