Credit has disappeared but not lending. The money people used to play speculative games while using borrowed money, has ended. But merchants and sellers are very anxious to lend just like in the Great Depression. Understanding the difference between credit, wealth, capital and debt is very important if we wish to understand the present depression we entered last year. We look at old stock market graphs and old newspaper ads to explain a little about what really ends a depression and why job security is the vital thing we should worry about, not credit.

  • sorry for posting my personel problems, i hope no ones going through what i'm going through and no one gets in debt to my degree.

  • i cant begin to tell you how low i feel, i'm 36 and have lived a happy life up to about 33 and then i got in debt and its turned me into a usless wreck, i hate myself and i run away from everything,i cant seem to deal with the most simplest things anymore, my phone rings everyday with people asking for money so i keep it on silent, i owe £12,00 which might not sound alot to some but it is to me, i have court on the 19th of next month they want repossession of my home and i'm scare that might do
