A lot of women are getting cruelly and needlessly rejected by men too. Even in this cartoon, the man completely dismisses the woman at 1:04 because she's not attractive enough. Maybe she would have been nice and given him a chance?

It's crazy how many people don't understand this. Hertzfeldt's deeper than "all women are psycho bitch gold diggers". There's also that one part where the guy skips over the fat chick. Doesn't that imply that the man is the true antagonist, and the video is a satire of overly-bitter men's perspective of love? Or, maybe I'm just wrong, who knows...

I wasn't judging the stick man or you, I just thought he was rejecting her based on her looks which is prejudice and a bit arrogant. Well personally I'm not attracted to 'fit' guys, I'm attracted to interesting, understanding and compassionate people. So I disagree that it's natural etc because then I'm not natural lol.

Of course all men are attracted to "average" even "ugly" looking girls, all i'm saying is that we are wired to prefer fit or healthy girls, just as women are wired to prefer a fit and healthy guy. you seem to add a value judgement where only variety and evolutionary preference exists and the fact that both get rejected is just a natural part of the game which is why it's so hilarious.

Yes I did actually, hence the word 'either' I carefully placed after those words. Well that's your opinion and that's fine, but mine is that the cartoonist included that part for a reason and it shows that both gender's can be rejected by the other. Some guys are attracted to average or under average looking girls without a blank personality actually and some aren't even attracted to girls at all so that's an irrelevant point.

"Men treating women in not a particularly nice way"? did you actually pay attention to what all the gurls did to that poor stickman lol Uninterested and arrogance are two different things. quit judging the stereotype the stickman represents. All guys are Interested in fit girls, this does not make them arrogant, it's just natural sexual selection. I don't think she was arrogant for ignoring him.

He did express arrogance in that he didn't even stop to talk to her, he only saw skinny or 'attractive' girls. I just think the film was interesting as it showed a very small idea about men treating women in a not particularly nice way either. I wasn't judging him, he's a stick man lol.

I have to disagree on that because not all women are just greedy gold diggers. This film is meant to be a satirical depiction of women in general. When he skips the fat chick, I kinda was a little disappointed because he should've given that lady a chance. It's not the outside that's important but what's inside that counts and is indeed true beauty.
