I naturally feel the most for the families/relatives/friends of the murdered nurses, but I also feel for Speck's family. Specifically, for the sister and brother-in-law that he'd been living with just before he committed the murders. It had to have been pretty awful for them, too. Especially when their own daughters were only a little younger than the nurses he murdered.
