Once and for all Ponijao is a GIRL!! They say it in the post documentary interview when they go back to show them the film! It says it on the damn DVD box. The filmmaker says it in the film. Her own mother says she's a girl! Yet somehow, you morons continue to say she's a boy. And the scene you all keep talking about, she's looking at the boy's penis and then looking at her lack of one. Ponijao is a girl. Do me a favor. Go to the official film website and tell me what it says. Idiots.

Regardless of whatever gender this sweet baby may be, one thing is for certain. Ponijao is hands down the most precious baby in this film. And I found it very interesting to see how quickly Ponijao developed as opposed to the other babies. She was walking and talking before the other three and was even learning balance.

ummmm...if you watch the movie...she is clearly a girl. One, her mother is teaching her to balance a can on her head. This is a task for the Himba women only. Secondly, there's a point in the movie when she's not wearing a loin-cloth. Most undeniably female.
