Welcome to Tips.Net. Today we’re going to be talking about checking your air filter.

So we’re going to start off by first locating your air filter. Pop off the tops, so you can get an idea of where it is. Alright, so this is where your air filter is located, and it comes right out of its casing.

Now with your air filter you’re gonna want to take a look to see if there is any dust or particulates. Put it up to the Sun to see if it bleeds through. Now, this air filter looks pretty clean.

Now if it wasn’t clean, what you could do is just drop the air filter and see if any particulates fall out. Do this once or twice, take it back up to the sun light, look again, and if it’s transparent—you’re pretty much good to go.

Once you’re done checking your air filter to make sure there is no contaminants inside, place it back into its casing. Flip it back over, and lock it into place. Now if your air filter is too dirty, you are going to need to get a replacement before too long, so that this doesn’t drop of particulates into your engine and make it run less effectively.

Thanks for watching.
