To look toward the future is something interesting. It can bring happiness or sorrow or pain and many more emotions. But the immediate future can be good to know about. Very good. :)

I wanted to set up something special one last time before we got married. There wasn't much time left until we were joined in matrimony. I decided to do something special in the forest, or something like that. I had to make it really special. I had to show Abigail that I was ready to be with her forever.
I told Abigail to dress up a bit and I waited in the living room while she got dressed. Marie informed me that she was making Abigail's wedding dress. We talked about it until we heard the door open. I turned to see an incredibly beautiful girl in a gorgeous dress.
Abigail was in a dark red gown that hugged her body at the top and her waist and flowed out around her thin frame. She looked more than incredible. I walked up to her and brought her lips to mine. "You look so beautiful," I said once I pulled away.
She smiled and it seemed to brighten the room. "Thank you."
Her necklace seemed to emphasize her beauty. "Should we get going?"
She giggled. "Sure." I grabbed her hand and led her outside. We walked down the road holding hands. No one was outside anymore. "So where are you taking me, Joe?"
"I can't tell you just yet. You'll see."
"You always want to keep things a surprise, don't you?"
"Of course. That's what makes it so exciting."
"True."
We only saw one person pass by and he was a man. He stared at Abigail and I put my arm around her waist, getting a bit jealous that he would look at her in that way. I pulled her along and we finally arrived. It was a beautiful pond. It shimmered with the reflection of the setting sun.
Abigail wrapped her arms around me and she kissed me. "Joe, this is really sweet."
"There's more."
"More? Joe, what did you do?"
I grabbed a rose and moved closer to her. I decided to sing her favorite song:

"Joe..." Her eyes were filled with tears and I'm sure they were of joy. I handed her the rose and she smiled at me. I put my hand on her cheek and I could see the love in her eyes. This girl was mine and she belonged to me and no one else. It would be made final soon and I certainly could not wait.
I reached down and kissed her soft lips, sending myself into a rush of sweetness and passion. I wrapped my arms tightly around her and felt the silky fabric of her dark red dress. I slowly pulled away and kept our foreheads touching. I smiled and I could slightly see that she was smiling too.
I pulled her into me and she rested her head on my chest. I started to move slowly to nothing. She followed my lead and we danced slowly as the sun hid itself from us. The stars started to come out and I hummed her song. Her arms were around my waist and I could feel them tighten.
"I love that song, Joe. It's so beautiful."
"Not like you, sweetheart."
She giggled. "You always say things like that to charm me."
"Well it works, doesn't it?"
She laughed. "Of course it does. You're always the charmer. It's the only reason I love you."
We both laughed and I held her closer if that was even possible. "I love you so much, Abigail. Can you imagine when we're married?"
"Yes, I can. It's going to be wonderful."
"Are you nervous for our wedding?"
"A little but I know it's all going to be okay. I have you and that's all that matters to me. I love you, Joe." She lifted the rose and smelled it. "Thank you for tonight. It was wonderful. You are so romantic."
We spent a long time out beneath the stars, talking and laughing. We mentioned the wedding several times and I could see her face glow as she talked about us finally getting married. I knew she was excited. It was adorable. I wanted to marry her more than anything. Everything would be great.
I didn't care if I had to give up being the Prince. Abigail was worth all the trouble. She was giving me the chance to finally be a normal person, to finally be happy. I owed her my life. We finally went back to the house and her parents said goodnight. We walked into the other bedroom.
Abigail had grown more comfortable of undressing in front of me and took off her dress. I smiled at her and her cheeks burned. She slipped on her nightgown and we got ready for bed. We got under the covers and found warmth in each other. This girl was going to make it all worthwhile.

Joe and Abigail are so sweet together. I can't imagine if anyone broke them up *cough* Joe's mum *cough*
And Joe's such a romantic. I don't know what I'd do if I were in that situation. Probably attack with loads of kisses, no doubt. ;)
Although, I can't help but think this is going TOO perfectly. I can imagine that Joe's mum and dad are planning something.
AND I think it's going to happen ON their wedding day.
Of course, I don't want that to happen. :(
